NBB2-12GM50-E2 cylindrical inductive proximity sensor

The NBB2-12GM50-E2 is an inductive proximity sensor from Pepperl+Fuchs. NAMUR sensors in the NBB series are designed for use with an isolating switch amplifier in a safe area, enabling use in intrinsically safe circuits in hazardous areas when connected via a suitable barrier. The sensor housing is nickel-plated brass with a plastic sensing face, and it has a rated protection class IP67. It detects metallic targets without contact, with the nominal range referencing a steel target. Typical applications include position detection and counting in process plants, chemical and petrochemical installations, and general machine building.
