CA30CLC12BPM1 capacitive proximity switch

The CA30CLC12BPM1 is an M30 cylindrical capacitive proximity sensor from Carlo Gavazzi. Capacitive sensors detect almost any material, including plastics, liquids, powders, wood and glass, by sensing changes in capacitance at the active face, and they also detect metals at shorter range. The sensing distance is adjustable by potentiometer, and the DC PNP output with connector runs from a 10 to 40 V DC supply. The housing is IP67. Typical uses are level detection in tanks and hoppers, sensing material through non-metallic container walls and counting parts on conveyors.
