ReLy OSSD1 safety relay

The ReLy product line from SICK consists of compact safety relays, and the OSSD variants are designed to be connected directly to safety sensors with OSSD outputs, such as light curtains and safety laser scanners. The relay evaluates the output signals and switches forcibly guided relay contacts, which offers a higher switching capacity than the sensors alone and allows the load to be isolated. The housing is narrow and DIN-rail mounted, with LED displays for status. Depending on the model, the device can offer automatic or manual restart, contactor monitoring (EDM) and several relay outputs. Safety performance can reach Category 4 and PL e. The relay is typically used in machine safeguarding where a standalone and cost-effective expansion module is needed.
