PNOZ X3 safety relay module

The PNOZ X3 is a long-established safety relay from the PNOZ X range of Pilz. It monitors emergency stop buttons, safety gates and, with suitable wiring, light barriers, and provides three safety contacts, one auxiliary contact and an optional semiconductor output. It features a two-channel input with cross-circuit detection, manual or automatic start with monitored reset, and a positively driven output relay structure. Different supply voltages exist as variants, including 24 V DC and 24 V AC/DC, and the unit mounts on a DIN rail. It can be used in applications up to category 4 / PL e and SIL 3 when properly wired. Typical applications include machine tools, presses, packaging and handling machines and any installation needing a simple, proven hard-wired safety function.
