Preventa XPS Universal safety relay (XPSUAF11AP)

The Preventa XPSUAF11AP is a safety relay module of the XPS Universal family used to monitor safety inputs such as emergency stop buttons, guard door switches, safety mats and electro-sensitive protective equipment. It operates from a 24 V DC and AC supply, offers several safety output contacts with a small number of auxiliary outputs, and can be configured for automatic or manual start and one- or two-channel monitoring with a start button that is monitored. The module is designed to reach the highest categories of safety under ISO 13849-1, up to Category 4 and Performance Level e, and SIL 3 under IEC 62061 when used correctly. LEDs show status of the supply, channels and output relays. It is housed in a narrow DIN-rail enclosure and uses removable screw or spring terminals. Typical uses are machine safeguarding in packaging, assembly, metal forming and material handling, where a single, compact device is required to provide a certified safety function.
