SIRIUS 3SK1 safety relay unit

The SIRIUS 3SK1 safety relay is a modular device in the SIRIUS safety range. The standard version has fixed functions, and the advanced version can be set to different functions with a configuration switch. Typical inputs are emergency stop buttons, position switches, electro-sensitive protective equipment and mats, and the device provides relay enabling outputs, as well as electronic outputs and signalling contacts. A device is usable up to Category 4 / PL e and SIL 3 depending on the circuit, and expansion units extend the number of enabling contacts. The housing is 22.5 mm wide and mounts on a DIN rail, with screw or spring-loaded terminals. The relay is used in machine protection on production and assembly lines.
