KQ2 One-Touch Fitting Series (KQ2H06-01AS) with TU Series Polyurethane Tubing

The KQ2H06-01AS is a male connector from SMC’s KQ2 series of one-touch push-in fittings, designed to connect 6 mm outside diameter tube to a port with a 1/8 inch R taper thread. The tube is inserted by hand and held by a release-ring mechanism, and it is released by pressing the ring. The AS suffix refers to the sealing and thread type in the SMC code system. The KQ2 fitting has a PBT or resin body with a nickel-plated brass thread and an NBR seal, and is used at pressures up to about 1 MPa. SMC TU series tubing is a flexible polyurethane tube, supplied in coils and many colours, with good kink resistance. The combination is used for pneumatic circuits in assembly and automation machines.
