Pneufit S Stainless Steel Push-In Fitting (12 004 0618) with PA2 Nylon Tubing

Pneufit S is a line of stainless steel push-in fittings from Norgren, designed for environments where brass or plastic fittings could corrode or contaminate, such as food, pharmaceutical and washdown areas. Push-in fittings let the user connect tubing by simply pushing it in, with a collet gripping the tube and an O-ring sealing it, and tubing is released by pressing the collet. Stainless steel bodies resist corrosion and are suitable for higher temperatures than many plastics. The fittings are used with filtered compressed air, usually at pressures up to about 10 bar or more depending on size and tube. Typical applications include food and beverage machinery, pharmaceutical equipment, chemical plants, marine equipment and washdown machinery.
