Metropolitan One-Touch Push-In Fitting (GPC 06-01) with Polyurethane Hose

The GPC 06-01 designation describes a push-in pneumatic fitting for 6 mm tubing with a 1/8 inch thread, supplied under the Metropolitan brand of Sang-A. Push-in fittings are installed by inserting the tube into the fitting, where a collet grips it and an internal seal prevents leakage; the tube is released by pressing the collet ring. Fittings are made of brass or plastic bodies. They are used with polyurethane hose, which is flexible and abrasion-resistant, in compressed air lines. Typical applications include connecting cylinders, valves and grippers in pneumatic automation and packaging machines.
