Precision Barrel Cam Rotary Indexing Table

A barrel cam rotary indexing table converts continuous input rotation from a motor and gearbox into intermittent, precisely positioned rotary motion by means of a cam and roller follower mechanism. The tables are known for high positioning accuracy, high rigidity and smooth acceleration profiles, with no backlash when the preloaded cam is used. TANSHING is a Taiwanese maker of cam indexers. Different cam curves can be specified to give different dwell and indexing times, and the number of stops can be tailored to the process. The mechanical drive keeps the table locked in position during dwell without a brake. Typical applications include assembly machines, packaging, labelling, testing and inspection stations, and multi-station machining where parts are moved between stations in a fixed cycle.
