EPIC H-BE 16 multi-pin industrial connector

EPIC H-BE 16 is a 16-position plus protective earth insert in LAPP’s EPIC range of rectangular industrial connectors, matching the widely used 16 A ‘E’ insert format. The screw-termination version comes as male insert EPIC H-BE 16 SS (article 10194000) and female insert EPIC H-BE 16 BS (10195000), with wire protection; versions without wire protection, push-in and cage-clamp terminations are also offered. Contacts are hard silver-plated copper alloy with contact resistance below 2 mΩ. Ratings are 16 A and 500 V to IEC (600 V UL/CSA), 6 kV impulse voltage and pollution degree 3, and screw terminals accept 0.5 to 2.5 mm² conductors with 8 mm stripping length. The polycarbonate body is UL 94 V-0, rated for 500 mating cycles and -40 to +100 °C. Inserts fit EPIC H-B 16 housings, including TG and TS hoods with top or side entry, AG and AD surface or bulkhead housings and SGR/SDR coupler and lever versions. They are used for detachable control and power wiring on machines, robot cells, conveyors and modular equipment.
