Modicon M580 Ethernet Programmable Automation Controller (BMEP582040)

The BMEP582040 is a Modicon M580 processor module from Schneider Electric. It is a standalone CPU of the M580 ePAC platform with embedded Ethernet, positioned in the mid range with a larger program memory of about 8 MB according to distributor listings, and support for around 61 Ethernet devices and 8 remote I/O racks. M580 uses Ethernet as the backbone for I/O communications and has built-in cybersecurity features. It is programmed with the Control Expert software in IEC 61131-3 languages.
