SIMOTICS GP and SIMOTICS SD severe duty low-voltage motor series

SIMOTICS GP is a series of general purpose low-voltage induction motors for standard industrial applications, offering frame sizes in aluminium and cast-iron housings and efficiency classes up to IE3 in the standard versions. SIMOTICS SD, the severe duty series, uses a cast-iron housing and robust bearings and sealing for harsh and heavy-duty conditions, such as dusty, humid or high-load environments. Both series are offered with outputs from fractions of a kilowatt to hundreds of kilowatts, 2- to 8-pole winding variants, and can be fitted with brakes, encoders, and fans on request. They are suited for operation on the mains or on frequency converters such as the SINAMICS range. Typical applications are pumps, fans, compressors, conveyor belts and machine tools.
