Product description

Martin Sprocket & Gear stocks timing belt pulleys in XL (1/5 inch), L (3/8 inch), H (1/2 inch) and XH (7/8 inch) pitches, with XXH made to order, in three bore styles: minimum plain bore for customer reboring, QD bushed, and taper bushed. Taper-bushed pulleys carry the prefix TB in Martin’s nomenclature; for example, TB24H100 is a 24-tooth, H-pitch pulley for a 1 inch wide belt. They accept standard taper bushings such as 1008, 1210, 2012 and 3020, bought separately, which clamp the pulley to the shaft with a keyway and allow quick installation and removal without set screws. Flanged versions (F in the type code) keep the belt tracking, and Martin recommends flanging when centre distance exceeds eight times the small pulley diameter or on vertical shafts. For higher power, Martin also offers HTS (curvilinear HTD-type) and MPC sprockets for Poly Chain belts with bushed bores. Typical uses are conveyor drives, packaging machines, pumps and other synchronous drives that need positive, slip-free speed ratios.
