Staff-Lok Quick-Release Shaft Collar

The Staff-Lok is a quick-release shaft collar from Stafford Manufacturing. Unlike a conventional set screw or clamp collar, it uses a cam-lever or toggle style locking mechanism to lock onto a shaft, so it can be released and repositioned quickly without a wrench. This makes it useful on adjustable machinery where stops, guides or components must be moved frequently, and it avoids marring the shaft that set screw collars can cause. Collars are commonly made from aluminium, steel or stainless steel, in bore sizes covering common inch and metric shafts. Typical applications include packaging and conveyor adjustment, fixtures, test equipment, guide rails, linear shafts, set up tooling and general machine building where speed of adjustment matters.
