Isranzer Polyurethane Timing Belt

ISORAN is Megadyne’s established brand of endless synchronous (timing) belts. The belts have moulded teeth in trapezoidal inch profiles (XL, L, H, XH) and curvilinear metric profiles (HTD-type and RPP), with high-modulus glass-fibre tension cords and a nylon-fabric tooth facing for wear resistance. Megadyne offers several performance grades: the standard ISORAN, ISORAN Silver2 with improved compound and cord for higher power capacity, and the higher-rated Gold and Platinum lines, plus double-sided (DD) versions for serpentine drives. The belts are made of rubber compounds such as polychloroprene or HNBR rather than polyurethane; Megadyne’s polyurethane timing belts are separate ranges such as Megalinear (open-ended, steel cord) and Megaflex (endless). ISORAN belts run with standard timing pulleys and are used in machine tools, textile and printing machinery, packaging equipment, pumps, compressors and general power transmission where a positive, maintenance-free synchronous drive is needed.
