15 Series T-Slotted Aluminum Extrusion (1515-LS)

The 1515-LS is a 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch profile from the 80/20 15 Series of T-slotted aluminum extrusions. The LS suffix denotes the lite smooth version, in which one or more faces are closed rather than slotted, giving a clean surface for guards and enclosures while saving weight compared with the standard 1515. Profiles are anodized 6105-T5 aluminum with a 0.32 inch slot opening and a central hole for tapping end fasteners. They are sold in stock bar lengths of 97, 145 and 120 inches or cut to length, and are joined with 15 Series anchor fasteners, brackets and T-nuts. Typical applications are machine frames, workstations, safety guarding, conveyor supports and robot cell bases, where modular, bolt-together construction avoids welding.
