Line 8 Structural Aluminum Extrusion Profile (0.0.026.33)

Part number 0.0.026.33 is the light version of item’s 40 x 40 mm Profile 8, the core section of the Line 8 MB building kit system used for machine frames, guards and workstations. The profile has four open 8 mm grooves, one on each face, into which item fasteners, T-slot nuts and accessories are inserted; the groove withstands an extraction force of about 2,500 N. The light version has a cross-sectional area of 6.46 cm² and weighs 1.74 kg/m, with second moments of area of 9 cm⁴ about both axes and a torsional constant of 1.36 cm⁴, making it suitable for moderately loaded frames where weight and cost matter more than maximum stiffness (a heavier standard 40×40 version exists for higher loads). It is made of anodised aluminium with a natural finish and supplied cut to the customer’s length up to 6,000 mm or as full stock lengths. Typical applications are machine bases and enclosures, safety fence frames, conveyor stands, assembly workbenches and jigs combined with item’s Line 8 connectors and panel elements.
