D4SL-N guard lock safety door switch

The D4SL-N is a safety interlock switch with guard locking from Omron, used on machine guard doors. The locking function holds the door closed with a mechanical latch until a solenoid is energised or released, preventing access to a hazard that continues after the stop command, such as a coasting motor. A separate actuator head attaches to the door, and the switch body mounts on the frame, with the actuator inserted into the head to engage the lock. The switch contains safety contacts that open when the door is open, and door monitoring contacts, and the solenoid can be configured for spring-lock or power-to-lock operation. The housing is rated for industrial environments, with IP67 sealing, and cable entries for conduit. Some versions include emergency release features. Typical applications include machine tools, robot cells, packaging and printing machines, and processing equipment requiring guard locking.
