QUINT UPS Uninterruptible Power Supply Module (QUINT4-UPS/24DC/24DC/20)

The QUINT4-UPS/24DC/24DC/20 is a DC uninterruptible power supply with a 24 V DC, 20 A rating, part of the QUINT UPS family from Phoenix Contact. It sits between a 24 V power supply and the load and switches seamlessly to a connected battery module if the input voltage fails, maintaining supply to controllers, networks and sensors. Intelligent battery management monitors battery condition, charges with a temperature-controlled characteristic and signals maintenance needs in advance. Energy storage modules using lead-gel or lithium-ion technology are added externally, selected according to the required buffer time. Status can be read through signalling contacts and a data interface for integration in control systems. Typical applications include protecting PLCs, industrial PCs and communication equipment against short mains interruptions in machine building and process plants.
