UB20.241 Uninterruptible Power Supply Control Unit

The UB20.241 is a DC UPS control unit from PULS for 24 V DC systems. It sits between a 24 V power supply and the load, monitors the input and, if the supply fails, switches over to an external battery module so that connected devices keep operating. In normal operation it charges the batteries and monitors their condition. It has a 20 A capability and signalling outputs for status indication, such as battery ready and buffering active. Lead-acid or maintenance-free batteries are connected externally and sized according to the required buffer time. Typical applications include protecting PLCs, industrial PCs, network devices and sensors against power interruptions, in machine building, process automation and infrastructure.
