RollerDrive EC5000 24V/48V Brushless Motorized Roller

The RollerDrive EC5000 is Interroll’s brushless DC motorised roller for zero-pressure accumulation and transport conveyors. Motor, planetary gearbox and commutation electronics sit inside the roller tube, so a conveyor zone is driven by one roller and belts or O-rings link the idlers. It is available for 24 V or 48 V DC supply and in three power levels, with the 48 V versions offering higher output for heavier totes and cartons. Analogue versions are speed-controlled via Interroll controls such as MultiControl and DriveControl, while bus versions communicate over CANopen and report diagnostic data. Interroll emphasises low energy consumption, low running noise, maintenance-free operation and backward compatibility with existing Interroll controls and power supplies. Tube diameters of 50 and 60 mm and a wide range of gear ratios and lengths are offered, with IP54 and higher-protection variants, partly suitable for freezer and moist areas. Typical uses are warehouse and distribution centre conveyors, order picking zones, parcel handling and airport baggage feeders.
