VM10 Modular Valve Island System (VM105551100)

The VM10 is a compact modular valve island system from Norgren in which 10 mm wide solenoid valves are mounted on a common manifold base with shared supply and exhaust ports. The valves are electrically connected through a plug-in system, which can use multipin connectors or a fieldbus node to reduce wiring time. Valve functions include 5/2 and 5/3 types and 3/2 functions, with different spool options, and the manifold can be extended in modular sections. The valve islands operate on filtered compressed air at pressures to about 10 bar and are intended for high flow in a small space. Indicator LEDs and manual overrides facilitate commissioning. Typical applications include assembly machines, packaging equipment, handling systems and general machine control where many actuators need to be switched from a small footprint.
