MINAS A6 high-performance AC servo motor

The MINAS A6 is the sixth-generation servo system from Panasonic, comprising AC servo motors and matching amplifiers. The family includes multiple motor types and sizes, from about 50 W to several kW, with a 23-bit absolute encoder giving high positioning resolution. The system has a high-bandwidth velocity loop frequency response, around 3.2 kHz, with adaptive notch filters and vibration suppression for rigid positioning performance, and real-time auto tuning to simplify setup. The A6 supports communication options such as RTEX, EtherCAT, and analog or pulse control, depending on the amplifier model, and includes the Safe Torque Off function. Motor options include low-inertia, medium-inertia and high-inertia types, with oil seal, brake and IP67 sealing options. Typical applications include electronic component mounting, semiconductor equipment, packaging machines, robots, machine tools and printing equipment. The motor and amplifier are chosen together as a set by rated output, supply voltage and communication type.
