Sigma-7 SGM7G series AC servo motor

The SGM7G is a medium-inertia rotary servo motor in Yaskawa’s Sigma-7 family, designed for applications needing high torque and robust performance at moderate speeds. Flange sizes from 80 mm to 180 mm are common, with options for holding brakes, oil seals and different shaft ends. Motors are matched to the Sigma-7 SGD7S and SGD7W servo amplifiers. Typical applications include machine tools, packaging, material handling, semiconductor and general automation equipment, where torque, stiffness and tuning performance are needed. It pairs with the Sigma-7 SGD7S single-axis and SGD7W two-axis servo amplifiers, which tune the motor automatically and offer safe torque off. Holding-brake and oil-seal options suit vertical axes and washdown areas.
