VE Series smart vision sensor

The VE series from Banner Engineering is a family of smart cameras that combine an image sensor, lens, lighting and processing in a single housing. The camera performs vision inspections such as presence and absence, counting, measurement, bar code reading and pattern matching. It is configured with a graphical software on a PC or the built-in interface, with tool based setup that requires no programming. Outputs are discrete and Ethernet communication allows results and images to be sent to a PLC or computer. The camera housings are rugged and sealed to industrial standards, and some versions have a built-in ring light or accessory options for lighting. Several models are available in the series with different resolutions and functions, such as VE200 and VE202.
