deTec4 Core safety light curtain

The deTec4 Core is a safety light curtain from SICK, certified to Type 4 under IEC 61496, SIL 3 and Performance Level e. It consists of a sender and a receiver with protective field heights from about 150 mm up to 1800 mm, and with resolutions of 14 mm for finger protection and 30 mm for hand protection. Core is the entry-level version of the deTec4 family and is designed for straightforward operation, with a display for status, simple alignment aids and a plug-and-play connection using a single M12 connector. A protective range of up to approximately 19 m is available for the 30 mm version. The device is used to protect hazardous areas on presses, packaging machines, robot cells and assembly stations, and it is offered as a set containing sender, receiver and cables.
