22ECT Ultra EC slotless brushless DC motor

The 22ECT Ultra EC is a slotless brushless DC motor with a diameter of 22 mm from Portescap. The slotless stator design removes cogging torque, which gives smooth rotation, low vibration and low acoustic noise, and allows efficient high-speed operation with high power density. Windings are available for various supply voltages, and the motor can be fitted with Hall sensors or an encoder as well as gearheads. The small and lightweight design suits devices where space and weight matter. Typical applications include medical and surgical hand tools, laboratory automation, drug delivery, handheld power tools, robotic grippers and aerospace or defence equipment.
