Altivar Process ATV630 variable speed drive

The ATV630 is a variable speed drive from the Altivar Process range of Schneider Electric, designed for centrifugal pumps, fans, compressors and other process machinery. It controls asynchronous and synchronous motors and offers built-in application functions such as pump and fan control, multiple motor management and energy monitoring. A graphical display terminal supports setup, and the drive has Modbus and Ethernet connections with options for other fieldbuses. Features include embedded harmonic reduction by DC chokes, an EMC filter, and safety functions such as Safe Torque Off. Power ratings range from a small number of kW up to several hundred kW. Typical applications include water treatment, HVAC, oil and gas, and mining.
