The VLT AutomationDrive FC 302 is a frequency converter from Danfoss for industrial applications needing high dynamic performance. It controls asynchronous and permanent-magnet motors in open or closed-loop vector control, with integrated motion control, Safe Torque Off, a programmable SmartLogic controller and fieldbus options including PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT. Power ranges from fractions of a kilowatt to megawatt class in several frame sizes, with enclosures from IP20 to IP66. It is used on conveyors, cranes, packaging and material handling.
