DFS60 high-resolution incremental rotary encoder

The DFS60 is an incremental rotary encoder from SICK, with a diameter of 58 or 60 mm. It offers a very wide choice of resolutions, from 1 up to 65,536 pulses per revolution, with some variants offering programmable resolution through a configuration tool. Different output signal types are available, including TTL/RS-422 and HTL/push-pull, and the device may be supplied with a face-mount or servo flange, a solid or blind hollow shaft, and a cable or connector outlet. The encoder has a robust bearing design and is rated to IP65 or higher, depending on the version, with a wide operating temperature range. It is used for speed and position feedback on motors, drives, conveyors, printing machines, textile machines and general machinery.
