Hengstler AC58 absolute optical rotary encoder

The Hengstler AC58 is an absolute optical rotary encoder with a 58 mm housing, sold under the Dynapar brand. It gives absolute angular position over one turn or, in multiturn versions, over many turns. Interfaces include SSI, BiSS, CANopen, PROFIBUS and DeviceNet depending on model, with solid shaft or hollow shaft variants for servo or synchro flange mounting. The rugged build handles shock and vibration with IP65 or IP67 protection. Uses are machine tools, packaging, cranes and material handling.
