Drum Motor 80i High-Efficiency Conveyor Drive

The Interroll Drum Motor 80i is the smallest model of Interroll’s i-series asynchronous drum motors, intended for small feed conveyors that run at high duty cycles. The three-phase motor, gearbox and bearings are enclosed in an approximately 81 mm diameter drum shell, so the unit replaces a conventional head pulley, external gearmotor and guarding. Rated power ranges from 0.033 to 0.120 kW, with rated shell speeds of roughly 25 to 230 min-1 (belt speeds of about 0.1 to 1 m/s) and belt pull up to about 650 N depending on gear ratio. The standard supply is 230/400 V at 50 Hz, other voltages on request, and the unit is IP66 rated. Standard shell lengths run from 193 mm to 1,093 mm, with a reinforced shaft above 543 mm. Options include rubber lagging for friction belts, sprockets for plastic modular belts, backstops, electromagnetic brakes or encoder feedback, food-grade and low-temperature oil, FPM labyrinth seals and cULus certification.
